Dr. Zhiyong (John) fan d.d.s, p.a.
Zhiyong (John) Fan DDS, is a general and cosmetic dentist at All Smiles Dentistry in Leander, Texas. At All Smiles Dentistry, Dr. Fan is focused on providing patients with the best information and advice to maintain not only oral health but also whole-body wellness.
Dr. Fan has extensive medical experience and practiced as a surgeon in China prior to moving to the United States to pursue dentistry. Dr. Fan graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston School of Dentistry in 2018. He was one of the top students in his class. He received Donald Charles Kroeger Research Scholarship based on his achievement in oral cancer research. While pursuing excellence in dental healthcare and refining techniques and procedures for optimum patient service and satisfaction Dr. Fan has continually developed his knowledge by attending dental conferences, study clubs, and lectures. He has over 200 continuing education hours since graduation! Dr. Fan is also an experienced researcher on osteoarthritis and aging.
Dr. Fan has actively participated in community service activities. He served as the president of Asian American Student Dental Association in dental school. He is an active advocator for diversity and equality. He is an active member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of Greater Houston Dental Society since 2018. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Capital Area Dental Society.
When not at the office Dr. Fan spends time with his family enjoying traveling, hiking, and playing tennis.
